Introduction
The Faudi AFGUARD is a measurement system designed to monitor the quality of jet fuel. It is recommended for in-situ detection of particulate matter, such as free water, in jet fuel. As a scattered light sensor, the AFGUARD provides an inline control solution for various processes.
Functionality: A precisely defined; constant light beam penetrates the process medium. Scattered light from particles (undissolved liquids like free water or gas bubbles) in the medium is detected by photodiodes. It is also possible to determine a water slug in Jet fuel.
The AFGUARD can be used to assess the performance of filter water separators by detecting free water levels at both the vessel inlet and outlet. This ensures continuous monitoring of filter functionality.
The Faudi Aviation AFGUARD complies with EI 1598 and is approved by IFQP (IATA Fuel Quality).
