Introduction

The Combined Weak Link 15Te WLL is a tool that combines Safe Lifting and Overload Protection in one ROV operated unit. A 15Te Combined Weak Link is the perfect tool for easy and safe lifting while the lifting line has an ROV enabled overload protection available at all times.

The Combined Weak Link combines 2 operational modes:

  1. Safe Lifting Mode
  2. Weak Mode based on replaceable Share Pins

When in Weak Mode, an emergency release breaking point at a desired value is included in the lifting line. Switching between the two modes can be simply performed by work class ROV.
