The Skidding unit with turntable is part of the skidding system delivered to Transocean Leader. The turntable unit is mounted onto our standard skidding pallet. By use of a hydraulic swivel and gear rim the turntable can rotate 360°.
For Transocean Leader we have designed and fabricated a skidding system that is fitted to existing skidding beams. The Skidding Unit with XT Guides system is used for handling of X-mas tree stack and includes several pallets, skidding unit with turntable and skidding unit with knuckle boom crane.
