Imenco’s Subsea Mechanical & Engineering department in Aberdeen is steadily growing its footprint, combining world-class subsea products with decades of hands-on engineering experience. At the heart of these efforts are Michael Noble, UK Manager Subsea Mechanical Engineering with 14 years at Imenco, and Colin McHardy, Business Development & Commercial Lead, who joined the Aberdeen office about two years ago.

Moving the world heritage: The first viking ship was moved to its location at the new Viking age museum in Oslo, Norway in September 2025. 

A recent example is the moving of the Viking ships for the Norwegian government – a once-in-a-lifetime engineering project with no margin for error. This high-profile assignment, reported on by media worldwide, was awarded to Imenco precisely because of the company’s proven competence in handling complex and advanced engineering operations.
