Strengthening Imenco’s Presence Across the Americas
Imenco has appointed Israel Madrigal as Commercial Director Americas, reinforcing the company’s commitment to growing its presence across the region.
Based in Houston, Texas, Madrigal brings decades of oil and gas experience across drilling, engineered equipment, technical‑commercial sales, and market expansion. He has held key commercial roles with NOV and Technip Energies and also managed his own company for several years, supporting operators, EPCs, and OEMs across the Americas.

Madrigal is also well acquainted with Norway, having visited the country numerous times throughout his career. He believes Norwegian companies enjoy a strong reputation internationally, particularly in the United States, where quality, innovation, and engineering expertise are highly valued.
In his new role, Madrigal will work across all of Imenco’s disciplines and business areas, helping customers identify opportunities where the company’s products, technologies, and engineering services can add value.
“The Americas represent a very large market with significant potential for Imenco. We will take a step-by-step approach, building relationships, understanding customer needs, and creating long-term growth opportunities,” says Madrigal.

Imenco Chief Commercial Officer Per Erik Skjold-Ødegaard sees the appointment as an important step in the company’s international growth strategy.
“Israel brings extensive industry experience, a strong network, and deep market knowledge. Together, we see considerable opportunities for Imenco’s products and engineering services throughout both North and South America, and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
With Madrigal leading business development activities across the Americas, Imenco is strengthening its commitment to bringing Smart Solutions to the global ocean industries.
